Bereavement, loss, chronic illness or dealing with life – limiting conditions could cause you to feel anxious, panicky and could add to relationship difficulties. People often feel as though they are on an emotional roller coaster. Would you like someone to talk to helping you feel less isolated and overwhelmed with your feelings?
It can sometimes seem scary to make changes or do something new but I hope that you will take courage, contact me and together we can work to support you through these difficult times.
I am a genuine and caring experienced counsellor that can offer a safe confidential space where you will be listened to in a non-judgemental way. Loss affects people in different ways but together counselling can help you to:-
- Adjust to your loss, change and bereavement
- Enable you to get through a crisis
- Help you take control of stress and anxiety
- Work through traumatic occasions in your life
- Help resolve relationship issues with friends and family
- Change unhelpful behaviour patterns
- Build up your self-confidence, self-esteem and support network
Adults, older people, children and young people.
I provide both long and short term counselling, meeting weekly.
How I Work
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor. I have worked with children, young people, adults and older people. I may work in a number of ways with you and respond and adapt my approach to suit your individual needs.
What is most important to me is our relationship. Working relationally means building a trusting, honest relationship and using our relationship as the basis for successful therapy.
I may help you to change some of your negative thought processes and may work creatively using art, particularly when working with children and young people.
