How much do I pay?
The initial phone call is free.
I charge £50 for each 50 minute session. Payment by BACS please.
Sessions are £50 per hour.
When do you offer counselling sessions?
I am currently working online and by telephone so can be fairly flexible. I offer sessions on Monday through the day and evening. Tuesday evenings and Friday morning and afternoon. If you telephone me we can make arrangements to suit you.
What will happen if I am late?
If you are late you will still be charged for the session.
What will happen if I need to cancel?
Please give me at least 2 working days' notice otherwise you will be charged the full rate.
What will happen during these sessions?
During the initial therapy session we can discuss your expectations and needs from counselling. This session also gives you the opportunity to decide if you would like us to work together.
Further sessions are usually held at the same time and place weekly. We will look at your issues and help you find ways of coping and resolving difficulties in your life.
How many sessions will I need?
You can choose. I provide both long and short term counselling. For some people six sessions is enough and for others a few months or years help them.
What about confidentiality?
Everything that you say is confidential.
Except for the following:-
Supervision - I share my work with my supervisor to make sure that I work ethically and to protect you.
Danger to self and others - If you were to tell me that you were to harm yourself or others then I would have to take this further.
If I had to take action I would aim if possible to discuss this with you first.

I use an integrative approach in which I work relationally.
What is your theoretical approach?
